The vision of a dream come true, Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro created the Lladro brand in 1953 in Valencia. Throughout the 1960s they continued to advance their work with elongated lines, a demonstration of their mastery and dexterity, which have become a distinctive style for the Lladro brand still today. In 1985 the Lladro Collectors’ Society was founded and today features over 100,000 pieces. Together, these three brothers took their passion for porcelain art and grew their workshop into a brand that is now recognized throughout the world.
Lladro porcelain figurines are created by hand with a unique process that includes modeling, carving, etching and painting. Lladro’s expert artists and designers have 32 different types of the highest quality porcelain at their disposal to ensure top quality for each piece. Once completed, each piece goes through multiple test to certify it meets all standards that the Lladro brand demands.
