The Longines Avigation BigEye L28161932 is a titanium chronograph inspired by early twentieth century pilot’s watches. The 41 mm case is made from grade five titanium and fitted with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating on the underside. The petroleum blue dial features oversized Arabic numerals, cathedral style hands and a large running seconds display at nine. The chronograph displays elapsed minutes at three and hours at six, both driven by the column wheel architecture of the Longines Calibre L688. This automatic movement runs at 28800 vibrations per hour, uses a silicon balance spring and provides 66 Hours of power reserve. The watch has a screw down case back, a lug to lug of 48.70 mm and a water resistance rating of 30 meters. It is fitted to a leather strap with a titanium pin buckle.
