Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days LeGrand Fountain Pen (M)
Fountain Pen
Resin
The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days series draws from Jules Verne’s famous novel. The LeGrand fountain pen in anthracite resin represents the segment of the journey from Bombay to Yokohama. A majestic elephant, the travellers’ transport in this part of the adventure, appears in a cartouche on the cap. The clip bears a red lacquered diamond card suit, and the cone is engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda’s jewellery and the card suits that symbolise Mr. Fogg’s wager. The cap top is embossed with the travel times: 25 days for this leg and 80 days in total. A hand crafted 14K gold nib is decorated with a hot air balloon and the dates of departure: 20:00 on 20 October from Bombay and 18:00 on 14 November from Yokohama.
