Produced during the late 1970s and 1980s, it retains the classic 40 mm stainless steel Oyster case and iconic red and blue “Pepsi” bezel, originally developed for Pan Am pilots to track multiple time zones. The dial features the familiar GMT layout with a fourth hand and 24-hour scale, along with a date display at 3 o’clock beneath a Cyclops lens. This reference introduced the quickset date function through the Rolex Calibre 3075, marking a significant technical update over earlier models.
